REDWOOD FALLS -- A seminar on prevention of harassment and bullying in the workplace will be July 25 at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls.
A general business session will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon and a health care specific session will run from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $15. Nursing, health care administrator, social worker and human resources CEUs have been approved.
Participants will learn the definition of harassment based on federal and state law; learn the difference between harassment and bullying; and what the legal and ethical responsibilities are when dealing with bullying and harassment in the workplace.
Dr. Susan Strauss, a nationally recognized expert and author, will speak. She works with private and public sector organizations to provide professional services for business, legal, health care, education and government settings.
