REDWOOD FALLS -- Harriet Lillian Cheney, 87, of Apple Valley, formerly of Redwood Falls died Monday in Apple Valley.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls with a private burial at Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.
She was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Tioga, N.D. to Frank and Grace (Ostrum) Clark. She attended school in Redwood Falls.
She married Jack Cheney in 1940 in Missouri. They farmed and she co-owned an antique shop in Redwood Falls. They wintered in Mesa, Ariz. She moved to Apple Valley in 1994.
She is survived by her children: Phillip (and Janet) of Edina, Donna Sparby of Apple Valley, and Robin (and Ben) Anderson of Apple Valley; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; one sister and one brother.
