Hassan qualifies for Nike Team Nationals

Willmar senior Mahad Hassan finished fourth at Heartland cross-country regional meet at Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday to qualify him for the Nike Team Nationals in Portland, Oregon, on Dec. 6th.

Class AA state champion Lukas Gemar of Moorhead was third in 15:37 with Hassan at 15:40.

The Winged Foot running club sponsored the bus trip, which included about 20 Willmar youth.
