It is one of 40 community forums being held around the state by Citizen Solutions, an initiative to gather the stories, thoughts and perspectives of Minnesotans to help guide the work of the Minnesota Health Care Reform Task Force.

In addition to the forums, Citizen Solutions plans to use social media and facilitated online conversations to further expand its outreach.

Organizers are seeking to hear from a cross-section of Minnesotans -- small-business owners, farmers, parents, seniors and more -- about how they want the future of the state's health care system to look.

The input that is gathered and compiled will be submitted to the bipartisan Minnesota Health Care Reform Task Force for consideration as the task force develops its policy proposals.

The initiative is led by the Citizens League and the Bush Foundation. It also is supported by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, the Minneapolis Foundation and the Blandin Foundation.

Preregistration to attend the forum on Wednesday can be made online at www.CitizenSolve.org.
