The Willmar area and a swath of central Minnesota is under a hazardous weather outlook for snowfall ranging from a dusting to 2 inches.

Redwood County in the Willmar region remains in a winter storm watch from Thursday morning to afternoon in southern Minnesota, mainly south and west of a line from Redwood Falls to Owatonna. There is the potential for up to 6 inches in the watch area, but mainly south of the Interstate 90 corridor.

Other parts of southwestern Minnesota are under a winter weather advisory -- including the Marshall area -- and a winter storm warning in the far southwest.
