CHELSEA JANS - ACGC

Basketball: Jans lettered three years, started two and was all-conference once playing forward and center. She averaged 10.5 points per game and 6.3 rebounds this season, both career bests. The Falcons won 51 games in her three seasons and won the West Central South title her sophomore season.

Volleyball: Jans started two years and lettered twice as a middle blocker. Her senior season was by far her best, with 209 of her 280 career kills and 43 of her 57 career ace blocks. The Falcons were 13-9 this winter and 29-18 in her two years as a starter. "Chelsea is a natural leader," said Falcons coach Monica Ashburn Zieske.

Track and Field: Jans competed in several events in her four years as a letterwinner, and she was part of the Falcons' 4x400 relay team. Jans' personal-bests were 4-feet, 10 inches in the high jump, 31-feet-2 in the Triple Jump, 13-feet-5 in the long jump and a 1 minute, 5.0 seconds in the 400-meter dash.

TREVER HEINING - ACGC

Basketball: Heining ended his career as a 1,465-point scorer with 902 rebounds, 249 assists and 98 steals. He started and lettered three years and was a two-time all-conference pick. This year, Heining shot 53 percent from the field, averaged 20.5 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Baseball: Heining was a four-year starter and letterwinner as a outfielder, shortstop and pitcher. He entered this season with a .300 career batting average with 10 doubles, two home runs and 22 runs batted in. As a pitcher, he came into the year with just a 2-11 record but a solid 2.18 earned-run average.

FOOTBALL: Heining started three years and lettered in four, and he was named all-conference in 2009 and 2011. He has 614 career rushing yards and 8 TDs, and he caught 41 passes for 487 yards and four scores. He had 65 career solo tackles, 7 sacks and 4 fumble recoveries.

SAM PETERSON - Benson

Basketball: Lettered three years, started three years and was named all-conference twice. Ended his career with 1,318 points and 635 rebounds, and he averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season for a Braves team that was 18-10 and played in a subsection championship game.

GOLF: Peterson lettered six years for the Braves golf team and earned all-conference honors every year, and he ranked among the top three in the conference in each of the last four years. He was a three-time subsection champion, a section champion in 2008 and appeared in the state high school meet that year. His career stroke average is 79.

FOOTBALL: Peterson lettered three years, started two and was named all-conference once as a wide receiver and defensive end. Last fall, he made 31 catches for 349 yards and 3 touchdowns, and has 51 career catches for 600 yards and 7 touchdowns. He made 22 career solo tackles and 8.5 sacks.

SAMANTHA GOFF - Benson

Track and Field: Goff was a six-year letterwinner and an integral part of two relay teams that won a state championship and also placed in the state meet. As an 8th-grader she ran on the Braves 4x800 state championship relay, and she was part of 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams that place at state.

Volleyball: Goff lettered and started two years and was named All-West Central South Conference in 2011. She had 190 of her 217 career ace spikes during her senior season last fall, and she also had 38 of her 73 career ace blocks as a senior. Goff played on a 16-9 Braves team last season and the team was 33-20 in her varsity career.

Basketball: Goff lettered three times and started two years for the Braves. She averaged 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for her career, and she ended her varsity years with 278 rebounds playing forward and center.
