Highway 212 between Montevideo and Wegdahl now open
WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol report that U.S. Highway 212 between Montevideo and Wegdahl is open and the detour lifted.

The highway was opened about 1 p.m. today.
Highway 212 had been closed to traffic since March 22 due to flooding between Montevideo and Wegdahl and the construction of a temporary levee in Montevideo.
Water has receded from Highway 212 between Montevideo and Wegdahl and the temporary levee has been removed.
