Highway 40 to be resurfaced near Milan, Minn.
MILAN -- Resurfacing of part of state Highway 40 is expected to begin Friday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said in a news release that motorists can expect lane closures along the route, which stretches from state Highway 119 to state Highway 7 near Milan. A pilot car and flaggers will control traffic through the work zone.
The nearly $900,000 project, being completed by Duininck Inc., is expected to be completed by the end of June, weather permitting.
MnDOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road or lane blocked with barriers or cones.
