Highway 40 near Milan, Minn., to be detoured today for culvert replacement

WILLMAR — Motorists near Milan will experience a one-day detour on state Highway 40 west of Milan while crews replace a culvert. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says in a news release that the project is expected to take place today.

The detour for the project follows Chippewa County Road 31 south of Milan.

Local traffic will be allowed within the detour area, except at the culvert repair site.
