Highway 67 at Granite Falls to open at 2 p.m.
WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol report that state Highway 67 east of the junction with Highway 23 in Granite Falls will open to traffic at approximately 2 p.m. today.
Highway 67 has been closed to traffic since March 24 due to flooding.
Water has receded from Highway 67 and detour signing will be removed, according to a news release from MnDOT. Motorists are reminded that flooding is difficult to predict and roads may be closed or restricted without warning. Motorists are advised to check road conditions in ad-vance of travel.
No other highways in southwest Minnesota are closed due to flooding.
