Dayton blames Republicans for loss of $100 million in federal road funds

RAYMOND -- Hilda Kamstra, 100, of Willmar, formerly of Raymond, died Sunday at Bethesda Pleasant View Nursing Home in Willmar.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Raymond Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Raymond.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg.

She was born April 4, 1908, on the family farm in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, to William and Anna (Mennsink) Hebrink. She grew up in rural Prinsburg and received her education at the District 85 School.

On Dec. 9, 1927, she married Martin Kamstra in Prinsburg. They lived in rural Prinsburg and then moved to Priam where they lived and farmed. They retired in 1965 and moved into Raymond. In fall 2003, she moved to Willmar and lived at Bethesda Pleasant View Nursing Home.

She had been an active member of the Raymond Senior Citizens and the Raymond Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by six children: Mathilda Campbell of St. Peter, Vivian Blom of Willmar, Florence (and David) Visser of Raymond, Gloria Epema of Willmar, Jane (and Ron) Ronning of Willmar and Clinton (and Linda) Kamstra of Willmar; one daughter-in-law: Phyllis Kamstra of Willmar; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: David Hebrink of Willmar and Anton Hebrink of Raymond; and one sister: Lillian Roelofs of Raymond.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995; one son: Milton; three grandsons; and nine siblings.
