Holidaze Parade is Saturday in downtown Willmar, Minn.

WILLMAR -- The 2011 Holidaze Parade will be Saturday in downtown Willmar.

Festivities start at 3 p.m. including a variety of activities for kids, sleigh rides and food booths. The lighted parade begins at 6:30 p.m.

There will also be a petting zoo with penguins, reindeer and alpacas.

The Barn Theatre will have cookie making and holiday stories from 3 to 5:30 p.m. A chili supper and music begin at 4 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, a kids' costume contest at 5 p.m. and tree lighting at 6 p.m. at Selvig Park.

Following the parade there will be hot chocolate and cookies at First Presbyterian Church and awards at 333 Litchfield (former Northern Grounds) along with live music, cash bar and appetizers.
