Honkers snap Stingers' win streak, but Willmar bounces back in Game 2

ROCHESTER — After being rained out the previous three days, the Willmar Stingers finally returned to the field Tuesday, but they couldn’t generate any offense in the first game of a doubleheader with Rochester as the Honkers edged the visitors 2-0 to snap the Stingers’ seven-game winning streak.

But behind Kurt Yinger’s arm and Max Ayoub’s bat, division-leading Willmar (15-5) bounced back in the second game, winning 4-1.
