Hough -- Axelson

Samantha Hough and Christopher Axelson were united in marriage June 23 in Spicer.

The bride is the daughter of Kimberly Hough of Scandia and the late Robert Hough. The groom, formerly of Willmar, is the son of Carla Axelson of St. Cloud and Marco Chamagua of Dallas, Texas.

Maid of honor was Tawni Mattila, friend of the bride. Bride's attendants were Erin Holznagel, Rachael Turry, Jessica Grafft, Tamara Laingen and Amy Brooks, friends of the bride.

Best man was Matthew Axelson, brother of the groom. Groom's attendants were Nathan Dale, Kevin Cederstrom, Eric Laingen, Trevor Roy and Zacharias Schneider, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Lucas Laingen.

A reception and dance were held at a private residence.

Following a wedding trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, the couple resides in Bloomington. The bride is employed as a server. The groom is a freelance photojournalist and a staff sergeant in the Minnesota Air National Guard, deployed to Afghanistan.
