Emily Hunt of St. Paul and Mike Bakker of Sacred Heart are engaged to be married Aug. 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville, Iowa.

Hunt is the daughter of Steven and Julie Hunt of Granville.
She is a 2007 graduate of Spalding Catholic High School in Granville and a 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in dietetics.
She is employed by the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Minneapolis as a dietetic intern.
Bakker is the son of Joel and Cheryl Bakker of Renville.
He is a 2006 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville and 2009 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in ag business.
He is employed by United FCS in Marshall as a financial analyst.
