Hurst -- Pearson

Alyssa Hurst and Gordy Pearson, both of Indianapolis, are engaged to be married May 2 at First Christian Church in Kokomo, Ind.

Hurst is the daughter of Jim and Elaine Hurst of Kokomo.

She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1993 and from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., in 1997 with a degree in social work. She is employed as a social worker by the Dawn Project/Behavior Corp.

Pearson is the son of Jim and Darlene Pearson of Maynard.

He graduated from Maynard High School in 1989 and from Southwestern Technical College in 1991 with a degree in fluid power technology. He is employed by Nova Hydraulics in Indianapolis in its technical sales department.
