Hutchinson, Minn., man hurt in snowmobile incident

DASSEL — A 30-year-old Hutchinson man was taken by Gold Cross Ambulance to Hutchinson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries sustained in a snowmobile incident around 4:40 p.m. Sunday in Dassel Township.

According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were called to State Highway 15 and 240th Street where Chase Ostlie was driving a 2001 Polaris snowmobile with a group of snowmobilers attempting to cross the highway. As Ostlie drove up the side of the ditch to cross the roadway, his snowmobile tipped on its side and he fell off the machine on Highway 15.

Also responding were the Dassel Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
