VILLARD -- Ila Mae Perdue, 63, of rural Villard died Sunday at her daughter's home in Alexandria.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Community Church in Alexandria. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and continue for one hour prior to the service.
She was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Beardsley Kan., to Luduish and Gertrude (Larson) Wederski. She graduated from Atwood High School and attended Parks Business School in Denver.
She married James Perdue on April 30, 1977, in Las Vegas. They made their home in Byers, Colo. She was employed with Aurora Presbyterian Hospital in Aurora, Colo., for almost 30 years, working in payroll, admissions, medical records and other positions. Following her retirement in 2004, they moved to rural Villard.
She is survived by her children: Robert (and Theresa) Williams of Stratton, Colo., Richard (and Jeri) Williams of Byers, Colo., and Cindy (and Mike) Bjerkaas of Alexandria; stepchildren: Rick (and Stacy) Perdue, Russell (and Laurie) Perdue, Tracy (and Chris) Stears and Julie (and John) Proctor; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six siblings: Bessy Ann Persinger of Atwood, Kan., Mary Lou Miller of Hill City, Kan., Betty (and Jim) Unruh of Colby, Kan., Leon (and Jan) Wederski of Puyallup, Wash., Carl (and Cheryl) Wederski of Atwood, Kan., and Earl (and Darci) Wederski of Calhan, Colo.
She was preceded in death her husband in 2007 and an infant sister.
