KERKHOVEN -- Inez A. Henjum, 100, of Willmar died Monday at Bethesda Pleasantview.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kerkhoven Lutheran Church. Burial will be in East Norway Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural New London.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Kerkhoven.
She was born Sept. 30, 1908, in Arctander Township, Kandiyohi County, to John and Algina (Hough) Henjum. She attended District 54 school in Kandiyohi County and graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1927 and from Minnesota School of Business in 1928.
She lived with her parents until she moved to Kerkhoven in 1952. She worked at the Lindberg Rest Home for 25 years. Following her retirement, she did volunteer work there for several years. She was a member of East Norway Lake Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She then joined Kerkhoven Lutheran Church and was active in her circle and women's organizations. She was a member of Senior Citizens in Kerkhoven.
She is survived by her sister: Mildred Carlson of Willmar; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
