Clippers' Barnes fined $25k for failure to leave court against Wolves
Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes was fined $25,000 by the NBA for failing to leave the court in a timely manner upon his ejection, the league announced Monday.
The incident occurred with 56.8 seconds left in the third quarter of the Clippers' overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
Barnes was called for a Flagrant Foul 2 on Kevin Love at the time, but it was later downgraded to a Flagrant Foul 1 upon league office review.
The fine was not for the foul, but for failing to leave the court quickly enough following his ejection.
