Camden All-Conference volleyball
Central Minnesota Christian School junior hitter Lexi Scott was named the Camden North Conference MVP and CMCS’ Terrin DeBoer was named North Division Coach of the Year.
Bluejays junior setter Nicole Brouwer, senior hitter Mary Covert and junior hitter Erin Orred also earned all-conference honors.
Other area all-conference players are:
Dawson-Boyd — senior setter/hitter Justine Flattum and junior libero Kylie Schuelke.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg — junior libero Alison Krieger.
Lac qui Parle Valley — junior setter Sydney Wittnebel.
MACCRAY — senior hitter Brooke Gould and senior setter Aleah Schwitters.
Renville County West — senior setter Sadie Treml and senior hitter Morgan Zaske.
In the South Division, Minneota junior hitter Taylor Reiss was named MVP and the Vikings’ Stephanie Hennen was chosen Coach of the Year.
Adaptive Curling
open house Dec. 5
An Adaptive Curling open house is Dec. 5 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Willmar Civic Center.
Adaptive Curling events are Thursday afternoons and is open to all ability levels. BBQs and refreshments will be served at the open hour.
People unable to attend the open house but who want to register for the program can call Willmar Community Education at 320-231-8490.
NLS boys hoops games rescheduled
Two New London-Spicer boys basketball games have been rescheduled.
The Wildcats’ Nov. 26 game against Rocori has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15.
NLS’ game originally set for Dec. 3 will instead be played on Monday, Jan. 20.
