Intersection crash injures four
WILLMAR -- Willmar Police said four people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Business 71/County Road 24/23rd Street Northeast.
Injured were Colin Raffety, 40, of Ortonville, Raffety's 10-year-old son, Patricia Engelmann, 61, of Glencoe, and Nichole Engelmann, 39, of Pennock. All were transported by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar where they were treated and released.
Police said the crash occurred as Raffety was driving a 2006 Chevy pickup eastbound from County Road 24 to 23rd Street Northeast and Patricia Engelmann was driving a 2002 Buick northbound on Highway 71. Nicole Engelmann was passenger in the Buick.
Willmar Fire Department and Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
