Interstates open in western Minnesota, SD and ND

Interstate 29 in South and North Dakota and I-94 from Alexandria to Fargo have reopened Monday morning in the wake of a fast-moving blizzard that exited the state overnight.

The routse was reopened as of 8:30 a.m. CST.

Highway 210 from Fergus Falls, Minn., to Breckenridge, Minn., and Highway 10 from Detroit Lakes, Minn., to Fargo also were scheduled to reopen by 8 a.m., the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Interstate highways in North Dakota had been closed from South Dakota to the Canadian border and from Jamestown to Fargo. They reopened about 7:30 a.m., the Highway Patrol said.
