GLENWOOD -- James Frederick "Jim" Dunn, 73, of Glenwood died Wednesday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Glenwood. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood
He was born March 25, 1935, in Tenstrike to Paul and Lillian (Larson) Dunn. He grew up in Tenstrike, attended school in Blackduck and graduated from high school in 1953.
He married Marjorie Malland on Aug. 6, 1957, in Bemidji. They made their home in Bemidji and then lived in Minneapolis before settling in Glenwood. Over the years, he worked as a warehouse foreman in various manufacturing plants.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenwood where he taught Sunday school, worked with young adults and the children's Awana program.
He is survived by his wife; children: Terry (and Mary) of Clearwater, Randy (and Carmen) of Starbuck and Cindy (and Roger) Dunn of Maple Grove; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings: Judy (and Jim) Skerik of Pinewood, Bill (and Goldie) Dunn of Pequot Lakes and Alfred (and Violet) Dunn of Longview, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers; and his step-father: Dewey Ammonson.
