Janice A. Todd Sept. 30, 1942 - June 17, 2009
OMAHA, Neb. -- Janice Ann (Sletta) Todd, 66, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of the Willmar and Atwater area, died Wednesday at her home.
There will be a private family memorial service at a later time.
She was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Long Prairie to Elton and Agnes (Tester) Sletta. She grew up in the Atwater and Willmar area, attending country school in Atwater and high school in Willmar, moving later to St. Paul. In 1971. she moved to Nebraska. She worked at various jobs, retiring in 2007. She had served as area director for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.
She is survived by five children: Jodi Moore of Omaha, Neb., Lori (and George) Haney of Fremont, Neb., John (and Jessica) Moore of St. Cloud, Jane Maas and Heidi Todd, both of Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 13 siblings: Gerald (and Jeanette) Sletta of St. Cloud, Judith Sletta (and Vernon Heyer) of Atwater, Cheryl (and Harold) Linville of Lakeville, Patricia Olson of Pennock, Larry Sletta of Clarissa, David Sletta of Royalton, Ramona Sletta, Victoria Sletta Johnson, Deborah (and John) Rogers, all of Willmar, Mary Sletta of Raymond, Daniel (and Sherilyn) Sletta of Spicer, Christy (and Bryan) Martin and Michelle (and Charles) Holmgren, all of Atwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
