Janning, Gehrking win CCS 5k run

WILLMAR -- Marty Janning, 47, of Willmar won the Community Christian School 5k run in 18:59 on Saturday, the next to last event in the Glacial Lakes Running Series.

Janning was followed by Mike May, 32, of Willmar in 19:47 and Eric Lewis, 47, of Spicer in 20:11.

In the female results, Lori Gehrking, 49, of Willmar finished in 21:57, two seconds up on Kristine Duininck, 38, of Spicer. Danielle Barker, 27, of Atwater was third in 22:23.

The second-year race had 157 finishers.
