Jay Kieft resigns as head of Kandiyohi County MN family services

WILLMAR - Jay Kieft, who has led the Kandiyohi County Family Services Department for the last five years, has resigned.

County Administrator Larry Kleindl said Kieft submitted a letter of resignation on Friday afternoon.

Kieft informed the family service staff on Monday that he would be leaving to take a similar position in Wright County.

His resignation takes effect March 1.
