BENSON -- Jean M. Mauch, 88, of Benson died Sunday at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in Benson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born July 17, 1920, in Goodrich, N.D., to Richard and Emma (Krugar) Augustadt. She grew up in Goodrich and attended school there. She graduated from Mankato State College with a teaching certificate.
She married Marvin Mauch on Sept. 1, 1946, in Goodrich. She taught school for six years. They lived in Benson. She was a member of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ and was a charter member of the Women's Fellowship Evening Circle. She moved to the Glenwood Retirement Village two years ago.
She is survived by her husband; children: Deborah (and Ray) Holmes of Lowry and Brian Mauch of St. Paul; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister: Verla Winsett of Aurora, Colo.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
