Jennie-O hires Redepenning, Tessmer; promotes Schafer
WILLMAR — Jennie-O Turkey Store of Willmar announces the hiring of Tim Redepenning and Eric Tessmer and the promotion of Jason Schafer.
Redepenning has accepted the position of manufacturing engineer at the Willmar Avenue Plant. Redepenning has spent the past three summers interning for Jennie-O Turkey Store at both the Willmar Avenue Plant and the Melrose Plant and is a 2013 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in manufacturing engineering and mechanical engineering.
“We welcome Tim to the Willmar Avenue team. We look forward to contributions from Tim in the engineering area of the operation, and a long career at Jennie-O Turkey Store,” said Matt Schrupp, Willmar Avenue Plant manager.
Tessmer has been hired as a production supervisor trainee at the Willmar Avenue Plant. He is a St. Cloud State graduate with a bachelor of science degree in business management.
“We are very happy to have Eric join the team at Willmar Avenue Plant. Eric is a great addition and will contribute greatly in the future,” said Schrupp.
Schafer has been promoted to maintenance supervisor for the Willmar Avenue Plant. He has worked at the Willmar Avenue Plant for the past 19 years in sanitation, production and electrical maintenance.
“Jason is a great asset to the operation at Willmar Avenue Plant. He has a tremendous amount of experience working in the facility, and does a great job with maintenance and electronics to keep the operation flowing smoothly,” said Schrupp.
