She is a 2002 graduate of Montevideo Senior High School and a 2008 graduate of Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D. She is employed as a registered nurse by St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
Spray is the son of Doug Spray of Milan and Ardy Spray of Montevideo.
He is a 1998 graduate of Montevideo Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of Southwest State University in Marshall. He is employed as a teacher by the Pequot Lakes School District.
