Jesse Langseth of Minneapolis to sing on 'Idol' Wednesday night
Fans of Jesse Langseth, the former Fargoan now living in Minneapolis, will have to wait until Wednesday to hear her singing live "American Idol."
The popular singing competition on Fox typically airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights. But the show is pushed back to Wednesday and Thursday this week because of The President's televised address tonight.
So, Langseth will have to wait one more night as she tries to advance to the finals of "Idol." The TV show starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday on the local Fox affiliate KVRR, channel 10 in Fargo and Moorhead.
Langseth, who is the younger sister of former blues prodigy Jonny Lang, will be singing with group 2. Two of the group's singers - the man and the woman with the highest number of votes called in by viewers - will move from this round to the finals.
Though, if Langseth doesn't make the final two she still has a chance to advance. The performer with the highest vote total outside of the two who advance will be slotted for a wild card round to be held before "Idol's" finals.
The results of Wednesday's competition will be announced at 7 p.m. Thursday during another live "Idol" episode.
