Jessica Gatewood to be crowned Kandiyohi County Dairy Princess on Saturday in Willmar, Minn.
WILLMAR — Jessica Gatewood will be crowned the new 2013 Kandiyohi County Dairy Princess during the annual Kandiyohi County Dairy Princess Coronation and Banquet at 7:30 p.m. March 2 at the Kandi Entertainment Center in Willmar.
Gatewood, 23, is a personal care assistant at Rice Hospital and a barista at LuLu Beans and has completed the massage therapy program and emergency medical technician course at Ridgewater College. She is the daughter of Gene and Shelly Gatewood of Willmar. Her family farms 350 acres and milks 66 Holstein cows.
She served as a dairy ambassador for several years and this will be her third year reigning as a dairy princess for Kandi-yohi County. The outgoing 2012 Dairy Princesses are Brielle Hauge and Johanna Johnson.
