RENVILLE - John H. Feldman, age 89, of Renville, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the RenVilla Nursing Home in Renville. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church north of Renville. The Rev. Karen Crawford will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Casket bearers will be Herman Feldman, Stan Feldman, David Feldman, Bob Marcus, Mike Gauquie, and Roger Gauquie. Honorary casket bearers will be his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. and continues on Saturday all at the church north of Renville. Arrangements with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville, MN.

John H. Feldman, the son of Reike and Fanny (Schweertman) Feldman, was born November 6, 1923, in Ericson Township in Renville County. As he grew up John stayed in the area. He attended District 116 Country School until the 8th grade, at that time he went to work. Over the years he worked as a telephone repair man, a farmer, and was school bus mechanic for Renville Public Schools for 28 years. He also drove school bus for 37 years. On March 10, 1951, he married Donna Mae Goellner in Minneapolis. They raised their family on a couple of different farms north of Renville and they moved in to Renville in 1971. He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Renville.

Survivors include his children: Linda (and Tim) Wilbur of Sartell, Jim (and Nancy) Feldman of Sunburg, Bruce (and Sandy) Feldman of Renville, Janice (and Pat) Geske of New Ulm, Scott (and Theresa) Feldman of Monticello, Donald (and Jane) Feldman of Renville, Robin (and friend Duane Olson) Feldman of Renville, and Thomas (and Carol) Feldman of Brooten; his 19 grandchildren: Jake (and Jeanine) Fladeboe, Greg Fladeboe, Kim (and Mark) Anderson, Julie Feldman, Jon (and Heidi) Feldman, Shaun (and Shantel) Feldman, Nick (and Michele) Feldman, Amber Feldman, Brian (and Paige) Feldman, Chris Feldman, Heather Ahlbrecht, Jeron Barchenger, Brandon Geske, Jamie Feldman, Stephanie Feldman, Kyle Feldman, Brett Feldman, Amanda Feldman, and Joseph Feldman; his 14 great grandchildren: Connor and Bryce Fladeboe, Cora and Quentin Fladeboe, Tyler, Brayden, and Mckenzie Anderson, Ashlyn, Lukas, and Kelsey Hildebrand, Gavyn and Gage Feldman, Addison Feldman, and Joshua Allen; one great-great grandchild Bentley Dahl, two step great grandchildren LaLonnie and Drew Moorman, four step great-great grandchildren: Levin and Micah Wilson, Wyatt and Eleanor Moorman; and his loving dog Coco; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his great granddaughter Avery Jane Feldman, and his siblings: George, Tim, Hank, Aielt, Harm, Jenny, Anna, and Bessy.
