Jordan Smith hits first professional home run

Willmar native Jordan Smith hit his first professional home run, an eighth inning solo shot off Bowling Green's Andrew Bellatti in the Lake County Captains' 22-12 loss to the Hot Rods on Sunday.

Smith went 3-for-5 with a walk and two RBIs in the game to raise his season batting average to .333.
