Julia M. Lindbloom Dec. 1, 1923 - Nov. 12, 2008

WILLMAR -- Julia "Judy" M. Lindbloom, 84, of Willmar died Wednesday at Rice Care Center in Willmar.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Fort Snelling Na-tional Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

She was born on Dec. 1, 1923, in Lead, S.D., to James and Bernice (Brunson) Hendrickson. She grew up in Deadwood, S.D., and graduated from Deadwood High School in 1941.

On March 10, 1945, she married Richard Lindbloom in Pierre, S.D. They made their home in Pierre for a few years. They lived in communities throughout Minnesota and, in 1960, they moved to Willmar. She was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church and taught confirmation classes for seven years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; children: R. Michael (and Barbara) Lindbloom of Park City, Utah, and David (and Lisa) Lindbloom of Sartell and Patricia (and Robert) Thrush of River Falls, Wis.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; siblings: Vernon Hendrickson of Seattle, Larry (and Joetta) Hendrickson of Port Angeles, Wash., Nina (and Robert) Patton of Spokane, Wash., and Ann (and Jack) Wenckman of Monroe, Wash.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
