NEW LONDON -- June Eileen Gustafson, 88, of New London, died Sunday at GlenOaks Care Center in New London.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church in New London. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in New London.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in New London and for one hour prior to the services at the church.
She was born June 1, 1920, in Clara City to Martin and Esther (Larson) Lobbins. She grew up in Belgrade and New London where she attended country grade school.
She married Leonard Gustafson on Sept. 25, 1950. They lived in Minneapolis and she worked for Honeywell for many years. She moved to New London in 1986.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church where she was active in prayer ministry, weekly Bible study, WELCA and missionary trips. She volunteered at GlenOaks for 10 years and was a member of the Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by children: Marilee Callan of Dassel, Reva Hanson of Cokato, and Barry Gustafson of Cokato; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Garnet Gjerde of New London.
She was preceded in death by husband in 1976; children: Harlan and Lynnette; and four brothers.
