The Kandiyohi County Fair has rescheduled a number of events following the fair shutdown Thursday night due to an approaching violent thunderstorm.
The talent show has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. tonight. The "Killer Hayseed" concert will follow at 8 p.m. The West Central Connection will not be performing, having "given up" its time slot to the talent show.
Other Thursday evening events were moved to Saturday. The goat show will be at 8 a.m. The 4-H horse show has been rescheduled to 3 p.m. following the one-day Holstein show.
Friday night's "Music In Motion" horse show has been moved to Saturday following the horse show.
With a violent thunderstorm approaching Thursday night, officials closed the fair ground gates and asked people to leave the fairgrounds.
