WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday will hear an update on its aquatic invasive species committee, as well as an update on the investigation into a report of a zebra mussel being found in Green Lake.


The regular board meeting begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Health and Human Services Building.

Also at the meeting, the commissioners will take action to reappoint Trisha Appeldorn as the Veterans Service Officer, hear an update on the Southwest Initiative Foundation and take action on a road construction agreement with the city of Kandiyohi and Minnesota Department of Transportation.

County Administrator Larry Kleindl is also expected to present information from a Vision 2040 committee on a “Brain Gain” meeting.

Prior to the business meeting, the commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. as the Health and Human Services Committee.
