WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners will hold its 2012 reorganizational meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Health and Human Services Building.
The commissioners will elect a chairman and vice chairman, make appointments to standing committees and take bids for the official newspaper.
Commissioner Dean Shuck served as chairman in 2011 and Commissioner Richard Larson served as vice chairman.
Other items on the agenda include a presentation from Carolyn Drude, senior financial adviser and executive vice president of Ehlers, regarding the possible refinancing of bonds for the Green Lake Sanitary Sewer and Water District, and action on one-year ditch liens.
Kandiyohi County Attorney Jenna Fischer will present contracts for her office to handle criminal prosecutions for the cities of Raymond, Spicer and New London.
Environmental services director Jeff Bredberg will present recommendations from the Water Planning Task Force for distribution of funds for projects ranging from education on aquatic invasive species to Earth Day events.
The commissioners will meet as the community health board at 11:55 a.m. to conduct a reorganizational meeting.
The commissioners meet on the second floor of the Health and Human Services building, located at 2200 23rd St N.E. in Willmar.
