Kandiyohi County, Minn., Board to meet Tuesday
WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Health and Human Services Building for its regular meeting.
Items on the agenda include a letter of retirement from County Assessor Tim Falkum, reports on the county's "Safe Community Coalition" and drug-free task force and a petition by the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative for a water drainage outlet into County Ditch 37.
The commissioners will also take action on conditional use permits, an agreement with the New London-Spicer School District for a liaison deputy and a proposal for the sale of tax-forfeited land.
At noon the commissioners will go on a tour with the Kandiyohi Soil & Water Conservation District to view several projects in the county.
Prior to the regular board meeting, the commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. as the Family Services Committee.
The meetings are held on the second floor of the Health and Human Services Building, 2200 23rd St. N.W. in Willmar.
