Kandiyohi County townships report election results

A number of Kandiyohi County townships on Tuesday conducted annual meetings and election of officers.

Kandiyohi Township residents set their 2009 levy at $105,000. Dan Kleven was re-elected as supervisor and Allan Rambow was elected treasurer.

In Fahlun Township, Orlo Almlie was re-elected supervisor and Linda Bjornberg was re-elected treasurer. The levy includes $25,000 for the general fund and $54,000 for the road and bridge fund.

A levy of $80,000 was approved for Edwards Township. Kim Smith was re-elected treasurer and Brandon Smith was re-elected supervisor.

In New London Township the total levy for 2009 was set at $345,000. Paul Lief was re-elected as supervisor and Bernadine Schwaegerl was re-elected as treasurer.

Steve Flann was re-elected supervisor and Jane Youngkrantz was re-elected treasurer in Lake Lillian Township. The 2009 levy was set at $70,000.
