Kathryn "Honey" Roth

WILLMAR - Kathryn "Honey" Roth, 95, of Willmar died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Bethesda Plesantview in Willmar, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with interment in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Honey was born on October 14, 1917 in Lamberton, MN, the daughter of George and Teresa (Bigot) Kluegel. She grew up in Lamberton where she graduated from high school. Following graduation, Honey attended the College of St. Theresa in Winona, MN, and the University of Minnesota. She was united in marriage to E.F. Bear Roth on March 17, 1937. Following their marriage they lived in Lamberton, where she was active in community and church affairs. They moved to Willmar in 1960, where they lived for several years before moving to Spicer, MN. While in Willmar and Spicer, Honey was very active at St. Marys Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Upon retirement, Honey and Bear divided their time between Rio Verde, AZ, Hayward, WI and Willmar. Following Bears death in 1994, Honey returned to Willmar residing at Sunrise Village before entering Bethesda Pleasantview.
Honey is survived by her five sons, William (and Patricia) of Marco Island, FL; Thomas (and Rosalie) of Los Angeles, CA; James (and Reed) of Florence, AZ; Richard (and Elaine) of Huntington Beach, CA and Mark (and Joan) Roth of Willmar, MN. Also surviving are nine grandsons, four granddaughters, four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
In addition to her husband, Bear, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Kathryn Roth.
