Kenneth H. Krecklau, age 81, of Willmar, formerly of Glencoe, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Glen Oak Care Center in New London. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, with interment in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Glencoe.

Kenneth H. Krecklau was born on September 8, 1932, in New Auburn Township, Sibley County. He was the son of Lawrence and Irene (Paulmann) Krecklau. Kenneth was baptized as an infant, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth in New Auburn. He received his education in Glencoe, Faribault and Owatonna schools.
Kenneth resided in Glencoe. In 1990, Kenneth moved to Pleasant View Group Home in Willmar.
Kenneth assisted with the family farming operations. He was later employed at the Rice Hospital in Willmar.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing, watching TV and listening to old tyme music and Christmas music. He enjoyed tending Oktoberfest and Polka Festivals. He especially cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
When Kenneth needed assistance with his daily care he became a resident of Glen Oak Care Center in New London, on July 18, 2014. He passed away there on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the age of 81 years. Blessed be his memory.

Brother, Myron Krecklau and his wife, Linda of Isle,
Lyle Krecklau and his wife, Marion of Mission, TX;
Sisters, Joan Alsleben of Glencoe,
Virgene Baumgardt and her husband, Wayne of Glenwood;
Special Friends from Pleasant View Group Home Ron Fritz, Don Raitz, and Jim Benggson;
Mary Saue, many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his Parents, Lawrence and Irene Krecklau; Brother-In-Law, Willmer Alsleben; Nephew, Curtis Krecklau; Niece, Carol Pattee.
