NEW LONDON -- Kenneth Roy Adams, 82, of New London, died Saturday at GlenOaks Care Center in New London.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in New London. Military honors will be provided by the New London American Legion.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home of New London.
He was born Aug. 4, 1926, near Hawick to Gust and Emma (Widmark) Adams. He grew up in Harrison Township in Kandiyohi County and attended School District 4. He farmed with family and was a hired hand for farmers in the area. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and served during the Korean War. He was discharged in 1955 and began farming and raising cattle west of New London. He retired in 2002 and continued to live on the farm until moving in with his nephew, Larry. In 2007, he became a resident of GlenOaks Care Center in New London
He is survived by his sister: Mae Amundson of Cokato; seven nieces; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by seven siblings.
