Kimball man pulled from burning car in Saturday crash

KINGSTON -- A 60-year-old Kimball man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for evaluation after a one-vehicle crash around 9 a.m. Saturday northwest of Kingston.

According to Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin, Richard Dinsmore was driving a 1995 Dodge minivan off the roadway and into the ditch at the intersection of County Road 19 and 325th Street.

A small fire started underneath the vehicle and a passerby pulled Dinsmore out of the van. The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

Also responding were the Kimball fire and rescue departments and Gold Cross Ambulance.
