Klobuchar to hold statewide health care conference call Sunday
U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar will host a live statewide conference call town hall meeting to discuss making health care more affordable and to answer questions from constituents.
Joining the senator will be Dr. Denis Cortese, CEO of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and Mary Wakefield, the highest ranking nurse in the federal government, according to a release from Klobuchar's office.
The town hall will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Those wishing to participate should register by clicking the "tele-town hall" link on Klobuchar's Web site at www.klobuchar.senate.gov. The deadline for registering for the call is noon Friday. Those who register will receive an automated reminder phone call on Friday evening and then a call on Sunday to be joined to the call.
