Clinton picks Kaine as her running mate

Klobuchar to hold statewide health care conference call Sunday

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., will host a live statewide conference call town hall meeting to discuss making health care more affordable and to answer questions from constituents.

Joining the senator will be Dr. Denis Cortese, CEO of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and Mary Wakefield, the highest-ranking nurse in the federal government.

The conference call will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Those wishing to participate can register by clicking the "tele-town hall" link on Klobuchar's Web site at www.klobuchar.senate.gov. The deadline for registering is noon Friday. Those who register will receive an automated reminder phone call Friday night and then a call Sunday to be linked to the conference call.
