Landlord charged with assault, terroristic threats against renters


WILLMAR -- A 48-year-old Pennock man made his first appearance Thursday on felony second-degree assault and terroristic threat charges for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his tenants and threatening their lives with the weapon.

Robert Lee Schrank was released on his personal recognizance, ordered to have no contact with two others in the case, to possess no firearms or exhibit any assaultive behavior. His next appearance in Kandiyohi County District Court is Oct. 15.
