Larry DeGraw May 8, 1950 - Aug. 8, 2009
BUFFALO -- Larry D. DeGraw, 59, of Buffalo, formerly of Raymond and Willmar, died Saturday at home after a battle with cancer.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Monticello. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Buffalo.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo and for one hour prior to service at church.
He was born May 8, 1950, in Lawrence, Tenn., to Mary Evelyn Cross. The family moved around for a while before settling in Raymond. He graduated from Clara City High School in 1968.
He married Lois Caspers on July 12, 1968. They lived in Willmar until moving to the Twin Cities in 1993. They moved to Buffalo in 2006. He worked as an independent contractor most of his life. He worked at H&H Bait and Gun Shop in Maple Lake until his cancer diagnosis in September 2008.
He is survived by his wife; children: Todd (and Laura) DeGraw of Raymond and Tonya (and Michael) Bergin of Monticello; four grandchildren; mother: Mary Evelyn Henslin of Alexandria; and brother: Bill (and Jan) Cross of Deerwood.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Marvin Henslin.
