Last of LWV forums in Willmar, Minn., tonight features Senate 17, House 17B

WILLMAR -- The last of the public forums planned by the Willmar League of Women Voters is tonight.

This will feature the local races for the Minnesota House and Minnesota Senate.

Sen. Joe Gimse, R-Willmar, and Sen. Lyle Koenen, DFL-Clara City, are the candidates for the Senate 17 seat.

Rep. Bruce Vogel, R-Willmar, Mary Sawatzky, DFL-Willmar, and Zack Liebl, Independence Party-Atwater, are the candidates for House 17B.

The forums will be be televised on WRAC-8 and simulcast on KWLM. The public is invited to attend these forums at the Municipal Utilities Building in Willmar.
